Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the kitchen Assist with menu planning and ingredient ordering to ensure freshness and quality Execute food preparation tasks efficiently during busy service hours Support the team in food handling, portion control, and presentation techniques Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely meal delivery Uphold all health regulations and safety protocols related to food industry standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is a plus Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting Strong food handling, cooking, and meal preparation skills Excellent knife skills and knowledge of culinary techniques Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with catering, serving, or food service operations is advantageous Passion for culinary arts with a desire to grow within the food industry
