Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in various kitchen environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations Handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality meal preparation and service Uphold standards of fine dining service through attention to detail in food presentation

Experience

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and fine dining service is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
