We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Prepares sauces, dressings, and other components of dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling techniques.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Wash, chop, peel, and portion ingredients for other cooks.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen.
