Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is cooked properly and presented attractively Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor food inventory levels and communicate needs to management Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers Follow all safety procedures related to kitchen equipment and food handling Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed Passion for the food industry with a focus on delivering quality dishes to guests
