Position Summary:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with the restaurant's recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. This position plays a key role in maintaining kitchen efficiency and ensuring high-quality dishes are served promptly during service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and portion standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations at all times.
Ensure all food products are stored properly and rotated (FIFO).
Assist with prep work, portioning, and daily kitchen setup.
Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and other kitchen staff.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (including proper handwashing and temperature checks).
Assist with closing and cleaning duties at the end of the shift.
Report any equipment issues or low stock to the Kitchen Manager promptly.
Support a positive and respectful team environment.
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or line cooking experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen operations.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Hours & Compensation:
- Part-time: approximately 10-20 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling based on events and seasonal demand.

Contract length: 100 months
Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
