We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team.The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking,This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced pizza shop, honing your skills in food safety, meal preparation, and food service. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and a strong understanding of the food industry standards is essential. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and professional food handling and meal preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols at all times Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs Support meal presentation to ensure dishes are visually appealing before serving Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding serving, food service, and customer interaction

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent skills in meal preparation and food presentation Good understanding of the food industry trends and customer service expectations Effective communication skills for working with team members and serving staff Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or modifications Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
