Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service to guests Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation Support the overall efficiency of kitchen operations during busy service hours

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude Basic understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene
