Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures. Participate in menu planning and development as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for meal preparation and creativity in cooking is a plus. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
