We need one more dependable Part-Time Line Cook to round out the team.
You:
Have at least 6-12 months on the line (or you're a very strong home cook who's ready to jump in and learn fast)
Give a damn about food -- seasoning, timing, presentation... the details matter to you
Can hold your own during a busy Saturday night service without losing your cool
Available evenings + mandatory weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun are our busiest)
Positive, low-ego, team-first attitude (we're small and we all help each other)
The role:
20-30 hours/week, mostly dinner service + some prep

Responsibilities:
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, while maintaining high quality and presentation standards
Work Dishwashing Shifts
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and develop new menu items
Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the Sous Chef for ordering supplies
Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume kitchen or similar environment
In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary terminology, and cooking procedures
Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus
