We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Assist in meal preparation and plating for service, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools is an asset.
