We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining food safety protocols.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
