We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meal preparation in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils, equipment, and food storage areas. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for replenishment. Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality control. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, food safety practices, and meal preparation techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations.
