Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that enhance the dining experience.
