We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to chefs recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Help maintain a positive work environment by communicating effectively with team members.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or as a Line Cook preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
