Line Cook/Prep Cook Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef
- Cook food items according to established standards and recipes
- Ensure that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is visually appealing
- Plate and present dishes in an attractive manner
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Qualifications: - High School Diploma (GED) , Certification in culinary is an asset. - Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook required **3 years minimum**
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
