We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
