Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to maintain high standards. Participate in menu planning and development as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
