We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Skills
Proficient in food handling techniques and food service practices.
Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or kitchen setting.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
