We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed
Assist in meal preparation and presentation
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the food industry
Previous experience in food service or kitchen roles is preferred but not required
