Job Description

Looking for a talented line cook to join our Top Notch Burgers team for the busy summer season. We offer a fun and energetic work environment with great opportunities for growth within our company. We offer competitive wages as well as biweekly tip-outs, with starting wage dependent on experience. Average wage for this position is $20/hour plus tips. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and punctual, with attention to detail and someone who enjoys working as part of a team. Looking for someone to work 4-5 shifts a week, Saturday & Sunday evenings are a must.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Assist in meal preparation and presentation for service. Provide excellent food service to customers, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow. Handle food items safely and responsibly, adhering to industry regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment. Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a kitchen setting. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food industry standards. Excellent serving skills and customer service orientation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Summary

In this role, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our kitchen and dining areas. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. With essential skills in meal preparation and restaurant experience, you will contribute to delivering high-quality service and delicious meals to our guests. Your ability to handle food safely and work collaboratively in a team will be key to maintaining a positive dining experience in our establishment.
