Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role involves preparing and assembling dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests Follow proper food safety procedures at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by assisting with meal assembly and plating

Requirements

Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food safety protocols Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Passion for delivering high-quality food service and creating an enjoyable dining experience
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 40 per week
