Job Description

Line Cook / Chef de Partie - IMPORTANT: Must be eligible to work and already in Canada Duties:

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner. Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen. Assist in catering preparation and execution for events. Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a kitchen, food service, and catering environment. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
