We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our recipes and standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure food is presented beautifully and served at the correct temperature.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
