We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position requires a passion for cooking and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Adhere to proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
