We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to the highest standards. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high-quality presentation and taste.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food safely and efficiently, following proper food handling procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
