We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the meal preparation process, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including all cooking equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and notify management when stock is low. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is required Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

Pay: $17.20-$19.20 per hour
