Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials. Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Provide support during catering events as needed, including meal preparation and serving.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus. Familiarity with menu planning, fine dining service, and catering operations is preferred. Excellent food handling practices and understanding of food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
