We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and possess a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and meets our high standards for quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.

Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
