We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the food preparation process, ensuring that every meal meets our standards of excellence while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours.
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is mandatory.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Knowledge of various cuisines and meal preparation styles is a plus.
