Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing ideas for new dishes
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools
Attention to detail with an emphasis on presentation and flavor profiles
Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is preferred
