We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling, preparation, and safety practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
