Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies within the restaurant environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in meal preparation Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
