Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Monitor food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and serving high-quality meals to customers.
