We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our restaurant's standards for taste and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills.
