Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing delicious meals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling dishes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Pay: $21.42-$22.10 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
