Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is a growing breakfast/lunch chain that is looking for a line cook at our Stroud location as we continue to expand.
Position Summary
The
Line Cook
is responsible for food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring meals are prepared according to guidelines and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare food items daily, following recipes, portion control, and presentation specifications.
Station Setup & Cleanliness
Set up stations per guidelines, clean as you go, and maintain an organized and sanitary work environment.
Equipment & Safety
Use kitchen equipment properly and safely, maintaining knowledge of equipment operation.
Inventory & Restocking
Restock food and supplies throughout the shift to ensure continuous service.
Sanitation & Organization
Assist in cleaning kitchen areas, including walk-in coolers and storage, and execute a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule.
Efficiency & Flexibility
Work at a consistent pace, ensure timely meal preparation, and adjust to changing needs throughout the shift.
Quality Control
Ensure food is served at the correct portion size, temperature, and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 1 year of cooking experience required.
Demonstrate knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation required.
Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
Effective communication skills.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Highly effective teamwork skills.
The ability to read and follow cheat sheets
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions
7am-3pm operation hours.
Weekends, as needed.
Ability to stand for long period of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
