Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure proper meal preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
Handle food safely and adhere to all food handling regulations
Support food service operations by plating dishes efficiently and accurately
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with safety standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or food service settings
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
