Do you have a passion for cooking and preparing food? Freson Bros., an Alberta-owned and operated fresh food retail chain, invites individuals who appreciate the craft of cooking to apply for the position of Line Cook in High Prairie, Alberta.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations Experience as a prep cook or line cook is preferred Warm and welcoming personality Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Can prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Role and Responsibilities:

Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food products Team Member training and coaching Maintain a clean and sanitized work area Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures Handling customer service inquiries and providing exceptional customer service Embrace and champion the use of real ingredients to produce real food

Position Details:

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Location: High Prairie, AB Wage: $15.00 - $20.00 / hour
