Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and sanitation protocols

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous Strong understanding of the food industry trends and customer service expectations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
