Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and daily meal preparation for various dining services Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including knife skills and food handling procedures Assist in plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal Support catering events and special functions as needed Serve food efficiently while providing excellent customer service Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or restaurant kitchens is preferred Strong culinary skills, including knife skills and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and fine dining service is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Prior experience in catering or food industry roles is advantageous Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
