We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of food service and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of all food products.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up stations and cleaning up after service.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
