Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu specifications while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate with management regarding inventory needs. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols as needed. Able to work at 5:00 AM on daily scheduled shifts Able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends must have valid work permit in Canada must have minimum 3-year experience in industrial kitchen (excluding fast food restaurants)

Experience



Previous experience in an industrial kitchen or restaurant environment is a must, with a focus on food preparation and meal assembly (excludes fast food restaurant) Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. culinary trade certification is an asset. knowledge and experience of gourmet pizza is creation an asset
