We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all meals meet our standards of excellence.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering services.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
