Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines for proper food handling. Assist with meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
