Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in training sessions for new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.

Pay: $15.70-$23.00 per hour
