As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food products
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitation tasks
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Experience with meal preparation and handling various types of food
