As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Assist with meal preparation and serving as needed
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness
Requirements
Proven experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with various cooking equipment and utensils
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members
