Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This dual role is essential for maintaining the kitchen's efficiency and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of kitchen supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Perform additional tasks as needed to support the kitchen team.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and procedures.
