Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to optimize flavor profiles and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Support food preparation activities such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and other appliances.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during service hours.
Assist with catering events or special functions as needed.
Follow all food safety regulations and health codes to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
Serve dishes with attention to presentation, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, dietary department, or restaurant settings.
Strong culinary skills including knife proficiency, meal preparation, and food handling expertise.
Experience with menu planning, food safety standards, and fine dining service is preferred.
Knowledge of food service operations, catering, and serving techniques is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
