Job Description

Eganridge Resort is hiring a Line Cooks. These are year round, permanent positions -- we do not lay off kitchen staff in the winter. In addition to wages, kitchen staff also participate in tip sharing.

Responsibilities include:

To prepare and produce, according to company specification all items pertaining to the designated station. Ensure staff maintains work areas in a clean, orderly manner and that all staff abides by policies of the Health & Safety authority. Maintain the proper, orderly rotation of stock, maintain minimal inventory and minimize waste in the kitchen. Responsible for successfully prioritizing mise en place. Be familiar with all kitchen equipment, and to familiarize oneself with their immediate surroundings within the restaurant. Conscientious about reducing restaurant waste. Prepare the orders immediately upon receipt and communicate efficiently with the service staff. Leave kitchen area completely clean, organized and restock line for following shift. Be knowledgeable of all company policies and adhere to them. Take direction and work well within a team kitchen environment as well as independently.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
